| So, it's almost the end of the month and how am I holding up on my New Years Resolutions??? - As for the job search, I've been looking all month, sent out a whole load of applications, but only been to one interview, but didn't want the job after the interview. I just got off the phone with HR from Temple University Hospital for an interview next Wednesday. So, I didn't quite meet my goal of finding a job within one month into the new year, but hopefully, crossing my fingers, my interview this coming Wednesday would work out. - Fiona's scrapbook - I finally ordered all the pictures and printed them out. I still need to hook up my old computer and try to retrieve those pictures from there and then I'm all set. I was trying to put all of FJ's scrapbook things together into one pile, and I realized that FJ will probably have three scrapbooks for her first year. Hopefully I could cut it down to two.. - Finding a car is harder than I thought it would be. Couldn't really decide on which car to settle for, so I'm leaving that decision to Xu. But I am pushing him to get our second car soon so that I could drive to all these interviews without stealing RJ's car. So how's progress so far?? The month seem to have flew by. Can't wait till it gets warmer. | | |
| First off: Happy New Year to everyone and wish everyone a healthy and prosperous year to come. New Year was nothing exciting. Seems like most New Years eve I'm counting down in my car because Xu and I never makes it to our destination. We were two blocks away from home when it turned 12AM. When we reached our house, our neighbors were outside making noise with their pots and pans, and of course wishing the other neighbors a Happy New Year... hehehe.. it was quite a scene. 2007 was quite a year for Xu and I. We - went to Cancun, Mexico with our lovely friends.
- Purchased our first house in PA, and moved down there.
- Xu fired his boss.
- Fiona turned 1.
- I quit my first real job and has been unemployed for 4 months now.
and let's not mention the less fortunate events since we should always look forward in life rather than dwell in the past. Things to do in 2008: - My goal is to find a job by the end of January.
- Buy a second car.
- Start/Finish Fiona's scrapbooks.
- Finish furnishing my house.
- Go fishing and catch a fish.
- Find the right bike for my mom.
- Looking forward to Mamie's wedding. - Vegas!!!!!!!!
Hopefully I get at least 2 of those items done. But who knows, we'll just have to see. Happy 2008!!!!!! | | |
